This is a client project for Nick´s helping them showcase their new packaging. Me and my team did this during a period of time where we simulated having our own studio so we reached out and got our own clients. Me and Mio Sperling were the animators on this. Mio did the 2D/3D animation in after effects. I did the CEL-Animation working in ToonBoomHarmony. and the “stop motion” on the protein bar wrapper made with pictures of their bar edited in photoshop. The CEL-animation was implemented to highlight the transitions and make the products come to life in a sense. It was my first time working with ToonBoomHarmony so I learned the basics while working on this project:)
Me and my team worked on Nick's project for about 6 weeks. I took on a project lead role and I also did CEL-animation, storyboarding and ideation. Nick's vision was to make their products with their new packaging to appear rather edgy than cute but in a flirty way. After feedback sessions they decided to go with this graphic design style and decided to work a lot on transitions while still highlighting the products.
