There is this cool little “house” that I frequently walk by and always wonder what's in it? And what is it used for? Anyways I think I figured it out;)
This Individual project is inspired by the windy Karlskrona. I really like the idea of mixing real footage with animation. I made this animation with ToonBoomHarmony and with a photo I took with my iphone as the background that I cleaned up a little bit with photoshop. All animated assets were drawn directly in ToonBoomHarmony. I knew early on that I wanted to work with characters. I mostly worked with CEL-animation, but I worked with keyframe animation on the walk cycle of the girl.
This was made in my free time and I worked here and there on it for about a month. I didn't really plan out this project and just went with what came to mind when I sat with my computer. I just wanted to try out mixed media because I really like that concept. I was going on walks and just took a bunch of pictures and videos of scenery around where I live that I thought could look cool with animation.
